Welcome to our Virtual Mill Tour. We mill pine, spruce, fir, cedar, and alpine fir, species that thrive in the Central and Northern Interior of British Columbia. Take a tour through our mill to see how our processing facility converts lumber into specialty wood products.

1 - Welcome to Dollar Saver Lumber Ltd, your Source for Specialty Lumber Products.

2 - The Dollar Saver Lumber Mill as seen from the Lumber Yard.

3 - The Mill is fed lumber that needs to be resized and planed to satisfy the customers lumber needs.

4 - The rough lumber is put on an infeed chain and sent thru the planer for dimensional resizing.

5 - The Planer then resizes the lumber to meet the customers needs.

6 - After the lumber is planed it is then graded and trimmed to length.

7 - The planed and trimmed lumber is then sorted and stacked into carts awaiting the strapping and or wrap.

9 - The Customer's specialty lumber order is then wrapped and strapped, ready for shipment.

10 - Here is a pallet full of kiln sticks, milled to a perfect size to aid the interior mills with their kiln drying process.

11 - This is an example of lathe strips used to stabilize the packages of finished product shipped from area mills.
